My name is Mirelle Rangel and I am a Meal Program Assistant with Schools in Action. One of the main reasons I was interested in working with the organization was because of the emphasis on community involvement. As a company and school, we have a duty to collaborate and give back to our surrounding community. We are a reflection of the people and family values of the community. I attended the University of California, Irvine, and graduated in 2018 with a double degree in History and Global Cultures (emphasis on Latin American History). In my free time I enjoy reading, running long distances, and baking as much bread as humanly possible.
